A smooth and serene three drive from Marrakech, hippy Essaouira embodies chic bohemia and artistic enclaves that has been a favourite amongst musicians and creatives such as Jimi Hendrix and Cat Stevens.
You’ll begin your private trip with your guide picking you up at your Marrakech accommodation and then driving all the way to the Atlantic coast to Essaouira. Your trip includes a lunch break and a guided tour of the Essaouira Medina, which is a culturally renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site. The day is yours to explore, shop, dine or bliss out on the beach. There’s wind-surfing available too if the conditions are right.
It’s your choice to stay for dinner or head back early to Marrakech. We have plenty of great recommendations in the city that can cater to any dietary needs. Once you’re ready to go, you’ll drive the journey back to Marrakech with your guide dropping you off at your Marrakech accommodation.

Our expert local guide will pick you up from your Marrakech accommodation and drive with you to the city of Essaouira situated along the Atlantic coast (an approximate three drive from Marrakech).
Along the way you'll stop at a local argan co-operative where you'll learn more about the various ways these natural remedies are made and supplied. You'll then have a delightful seaside lunch and a guided tour of Essaouira's Medina.
Essaouira has an abundance of chic shops, cool cafes and plenty of aquatic activities along its beach. We know the best places to go where you’ll get quality artisan made goods made in Morocco for the best price. The day is yours with your guide, so you can shop until you drop.
All along the tour your guide will be explaining the history, significance and everlasting influence of the city, country and culture. This is an intimate and experiential tour that you’ll always remember.

However, as it's an approximate 3 hour drive to Essaouira from Marrakech, we recommend starting at 8:30am and you'll arrive back at your Marrakech accommodation by 11:00pm.
